The Luchadoras of AAA

I haven't done a roster update in a while, so here are the female wrestlers (or luchadoras) of Asistencia Asesoría y Administración or AAA.

It seems like AAA has a much smaller female roster than it's rival CMLL.
AAA has 11 active luchadoras and CMLL has 17.
And since Sexy Star splits her time between AAA and Lucha Underground, that puts them at 10 full timers.

Luchadoras Rule at TripleMania XIX

 Yeah I know I'm kinda late getting around to it, (3 months) but on June 18th, 2011 at the Palacio de los Deportes ("Sports Palace") in Mexico City, Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) held TripleMania XIX.
The significance of this is that unlike the WWE's WrestleMania, AAA's TripleManía actually had a good women's match.
At WrestleMania XXVII we had "Snooki" (from Jersey Shore), Trish Stratus, and John Morrison taking on Dolph Ziggler and LayCool, with Vickie Guerrero.
Yay.
At TripleMania XIX, we got to see Sexy Star team up with TNA Knockouts Angelina Love, Velvet Sky and the then TNA Women's Knockout Champion Mickie James.
Sexy Star, Angelina Love, Velvet Sky and Mickie James all on one team?
Yes.
They took on Cynthia Moreno, Faby Apache, Lolita and the then AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Mari Apache.
So you had arguably six of the hottest women in wrestling and two world champions in one women's match.
As opposed to a reality star (?), a retired wrestler, two guys and the WWE version of The Beautiful People.
And where the WWE match went on a grueling three minutes and seventeen seconds, the AAA match was eleven minutes and four seconds.

Anyway, the La Legión Extranjera team (Sexy Star, Angelina, Velvet and Mickie) won when Mickie gave Faby Apache the Long Kiss Goodnight and the Mickie–DT.
To me, the best part was seeing the good old "psycho/heel" Mickie James wrestling Faby.

Luchadora - Dark Unicorn

You know I kept wanting to do a write up on luchadora Dark Unicorn, but I couldn't find any info on her.
Then this morning I'm at Luchawiki looking around, I check her profile and guess what?

I find out that I already did a write up on her, because Dark Unicorn is American Indy female wrestler, Hailey Hatred!
See, this is why I keep telling people to go to Luchawiki!
It seems Hailey has been wrestling for LLF down there as Dark Unicorn on and off since 2009, and recently made an appearance for AAA as Hailey.

Dark Unicorn (or Hailey Hatred) was born on November 4th, 1983 in Columbus, Ohio.
She was trained by Cody Hawk, Matt Stryker, Race Steele and Jimmy Yang and made her wrestling debut in July of 2002.
She has wrestled for a ton of wrestling promotions including ChickFight, Insanity Pro Wrestling, Women Superstars Uncensored, CHIKARA, Southern Wrestling Alliance, Midwest Regional Wrestling, Far North Wrestling and Cleveland All-Pro Wrestling.

And now of course Lucha Libre Femenil (LLF) and Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion (AAA) in Mexico.
