Mari Apache and Fabi Apache

The Apache sisters Mari and Fabi in happier times.

Both ladies are doing pretty well in lucha libre at the moment.
Fabi is the Reina de Reinas Champion (she beat LuFisto, Mari Apache and Taya Valkyrie in a tournament to win the title).
And Mari is one half of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions, along with Halloween.

The CMLL Luchadora Roster

I havent done a roster listing in quite a while so here are the luchadoras currently on the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) roster (to the best of my knowledge).

One thing I noticed in looking at this roster is that a large portion of these luchadoras are in their 30s and 40s.
Mima is 42 and Marcela is 41.
That would be a little unusual in the WWE, but not in lucha libre.

Dark Angel - Sarah Stock Back In CMLL

As you may know, on January 9th, 2013, Sarita (Sarah Stock) parted ways with TNA wrestling.
While I was sad to hear this, Sarah hadn't wrestled for TNA in over seven months.
But TNA's loss is lucha libre's gain as Sarah is back in CMLL.
And may I say that she is looking better than ever.

Seriously...she has developed the body of a fitness model since leaving TNA.
I know she has won the CMLL Bodybuilding Contest six years in a row, but I think this is her best.

Estrellita - Mexican National Women's Champion

It's been a pretty good year for luchadora Estrellita.
First "Little Star" was in the second season of The Luchador on A&E in Mexico along with Princesa Blanca, Shocker, Rey Bucanero, Felino and Dragon Lee.

Then on November 27th, 2012, she beat Princesa Blanca for the CMLL Mexican National Women's Championship, ending Blanca's 1,397 day reign.
