This is beautiful luchadora Alicia (Alison Flores) aka "El Angel Seductor".
Alicia was born on January 5th, 1987 in the city of Chihuahua, in Chihuahua Mexico.
She was trained by Tsunami, Polly Star and Golden Boy and made her lucha libre debut on November 25th, 2011 at Arena Femenil in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
She's kinda tiny standing 4 foot 11 and weighing 110 pounds.
But it seems like there is a growing number of tiny luchadoras lately.
I guess that's just more for La Chacala to beat up on.
You know how in the WWE when a male WWE Superstar confronts a WWE Diva, the Diva usually goes into a fetal position and another male WWE Superstar has to rescue her?
Well that is NOT the case in Lucha Underground.
AAA Luchadora and Lucha Underground star Sexy Star has fought men since the get-go and now her BFF Taya is doing the same thing.
Yeah, Taya got in the ring with HIM!
Of course inter-gender matches happen a lot in Mexico and they even have a Mixed Tag Team title there.
But here in the US it has been a different story except for the Indies and Lucha Underground.
Taya may get her butt kicked, but she gives it 110%
The big news with AAA luchadora Faby Apache is that a few days ago (April 6th, 2012) her sister Mari Apache turned ruda (heel) and started a rivalry with her.

Last night at Guerra de Titanes, luchadora Sexy Star defeated Pimpinela Escarlata (Scarlet Pimpernel) in a lumberjack match to win the AAA Queen of Queens Championship for the second time.

So far we have made it through a week with the lovely luchadora.
Tomorrow night (December 16th, 2011) Star will take on the exotic Scarlet Pimpernel at Estadio de Béisbol Hermanos Serdán in Puebla, Mexico for the AAA Queen of Queens Championship.
In Star's corner will be her La Legión Extranjera partner, Konnan.
Either Blogger, Google or Picasa didnt like the pictures on my 30 Days of Luchadora Sexy Star series so I am removing the "offending" posts so what you have left is a series of weirdly dated "acceptable" entries.

A while back I did a write up on joshi puroresu wrestler turned masked luchadora Mio Shirai, or Kitzune Nanoko.
In that entry I mentioned her sister Io Shirai who was wrestling under the name Biba Kasa at the time.
Well here is a little more on Io, who I think now is being called Oyuki in the Mexican wrestling promotion, AAA.
Io of course is one half of the tag team Sexy Purple Thunder Sisters along with her sister.
Although Oyuki is still in the AAA photo gallery, she doesnt have an entry on the AAA roster.
This is masked luchadora Kitzune Nanoko.
If you look very closely, you may recognize her as joshi puroresu wrestler Mio Shirai, who was one half of the tag team Sexy Purple Thunder Sisters (possibly the coolest tag team name ever in womens wrestling) along with her younger sister Io Shirai.
In September of this year, Mio showed up as Kitzune Nanoko in Mexico wrestling for Grupo Internacional Revolucion (IWRG).
In IWRG she teamed up with Biba Kasa, who was none other than her sister Io.
Then, she showed up in Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion (AAA) teaming up with Alissa Flash (Cheerleader Melissa) to take on and defeat Cinthia and Esther Moreno.
In Japan, Mio used wrestling and MMA style moves in the ring, and was known for being "stiff".
I'm wondering if Kitzune Nanoko and Biba Kasa might wind up being a force in AAA.
This match is a little different.
It's Faby Apache and Aerostar taking on Alex Koslov and Christina Von Eerie in a mixed tag-team match in Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA).

The match is also for the mixed tag team championship.
Of course in Lucha Libre, a mixed match isn't a one-sided joke like it is in the WWE here.
The women get and give just as good as the men do.
Alex Koslov quickly learns this as Faby takes him down right off the bat.
And in a moment, she has a leg lock submission hold clamped on.
Several quick exchanges, reversals, and lighting fast lucha libre moves later, it looks like Faby and Aerostar have everything under control.
But Alex catches Faby with a forearm and the tide of the battle changes.
Then Aerostar gets double-teamed, then Faby, then everyone is in (and outside) the ring.
It's a decent match, I would have liked to seen Christina Von Eerie and Faby mix it up more, but hey, you can't have everything.

If you haven't checked out the Catch Channel yet, you should, because he has a lot of very good Lucha Libre video posted there.
One thing that makes this match so cool to me is that it's done in an outside venue, which is a big change from what you see here in the WWE and TNA.
And of course we have some interference from Billy Boy, that's thwarted by Aerostar.
But unlike wrestling here, just because their male counterparts get involved, the match doesn't end, and the focus doesn't shift to them.
The focus stays on the ladies wrestling.
And you have to look at the caliber of performer that you are seeing in the wrestling ring.
La Diabolica made her Lucha Libre debut back in 1986, Cinthia Moreno has been wrestling since 1987, Faby Apache debuted in 1998 and Mary Apache started her Lucha Libre career in 2000.
So Mary is the least experienced woman in the ring...with only nine years wrestling experience!
Compare that to a lot of the WWE Divas or TNA Knockouts.
Well good old YouTube deleted that match.
Act surprised.

It's not as easy to find good quality Luchadora wrestling videos as it is Japanese female wrestling. But there are quite a few videos out there. It seems that the most popular are clips posted by luchadorasnet (http://www.youtube.com/user/luchadorasnet) on YouTube. The only problem is, that the videos posted are a year to three years old.

Usually when you see the name DoubleMiz it's associated with my Joshi blog, but here is a Lucha Libre video she posted of Ayako Hamada, Fabi Apache and Angel Williams (Angelina Love) taking on Sexy Star, Estrellita and Cinthia Moreno in a match for the Mexican wrestling promotion Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) in Mexico. This is a three part video and the actual match length is about thirty minutes. When's the last time you saw a thirty minute female wrestling match in the WWE or TNA? Luchador Konnan, who you may remember from WCW and TNA, introduces "his team" Ayako Hamada, Fabi Apache and Angel Williams as "real wrestlers" from Japan and the USA. But Ayako and Fabi were both born in Mexico City, Mexico and Angel was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Heck, Konnan himself was born in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. Well I guess he could have went for "international wrestlers" here....

Second, The IWG Promotion (International Wrestling Group) is trying to gear up their luchadora division. Back on April 3rd, they held an open casting call looking for luchadoras.
And finally, over at Claudia Wiens' blog, there are some REALLY nice candid photos of luchadoras like Sexy Star and Sarah Stock. It's really worth checking out.
Besides the Reina de Reinas Championship, Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion has a Championship that women can compete for that's a little different than here in the US. They have the World Mixed Tag Team Championship. True the WWE has mixed tag team matches at times, but it's not elevated to this status here.
On June 15, 2003 in Naucalpan, México, Electro Shock and Lady Apache won the first AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship by defeating Gran Apache and Fabi Apache, El Brazo and Martha Villalobos and Chessman and Tiffany in an elimination match. That must have been kinda weird since Lady Apache is married to Electro Shock, and she was once married to Gran Apache and Fabi had been her step daughter.
Chessman and Tiffany won the titles on September 16, 2003 in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí.
Gran Apache and Faby Apache won the belts on August 1, 2004 in Guadalupe, Puebla by defeating Electro Shock and Lady Apache, Chessman and Tiffany and Orientál and Cynthia Moreno in a four-way match. The title was vacated on July 17, 2005 when Fabi Apache didn't show up for a title defense.
Orientál and Cynthia Moreno (brother/sister) won the titles on December 10, 2005 in Guadalajara, Jalisco by defeating Chessman and La Diabólica in a tournament final. The title was again vacated on November 30, 2007 when Cynthia was injured.
Gran Apache and Mari Apache won the belts on November 30, 2007 in Madero, Tamaulipas after defeating Billy Boy and Fabi Apache, Espiritu and La Diabolica and Ayako Hamada and Mr. Niebla in a four-way match.
And finally Orientál and Cynthia Moreno won the titles on September 14, 2008 in Zapopan, Jalisco at the Verano de Escandalo.
There seems to be a lot of husband/wife, father/daughter, boyfriend/girlfriend wrestling going on in Mexico. I wonder why Vince hasn't caught onto that yet?
